Support Worker Children & Young People

Pay Rate £12.75-£13.25
We are working on behalf of our client seeking a dedicated Support Worker in the Ascot area. We are currently recruiting experienced and committed Support Workers to join our agency, providing high-quality care and support to children and young people within residential homes. This Support Worker role is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people, helping them to feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve their potential.
As a Support Worker
·You will provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people while promoting a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
·The Support Worker will support daily routines, activities, and the development of independence skills, while building positive and professional relationships with young people.
·You will work collaboratively as a Support Worker alongside residential teams and other professionals, maintain accurate records and reports, and follow all safeguarding procedures, reporting any concerns appropriately.
To be successful in this Support Worker role, you must have a minimum of 6 months' experience working with children and young people in a residential or similar setting, along with a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practice. A strong Support Worker will be able to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and show flexibility to work a variety of shifts. A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. An enhanced DBS is required for all individuals applying for this role.
