Job Title: Temporary Support Worker -Children & Young People
Job Type: Temporary / Agency Work
Location: Berkshire area (local residential settings)
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting experienced and dedicated Support Workers to join our agency, providing high-quality care and support to children and young people within residential homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people, helping them to feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
·Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
·Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
·Support with daily routines, activities, and independence skills
·Build positive and professional relationships with young people
·Work collaboratively with residential teams and other professionals
·Maintain accurate records and reports as required
·Follow all safeguarding procedures and report any concerns appropriately

Requirements:
·Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children and young people in a residential or similar setting
·A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practice
·Ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
·A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
·Enhanced DBS required
