🌟 Registered Home Manager 🌟
Location: Moreton, Wirral
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000
My client is a brand-new organisation dedicated to providing specialist residential care in high-quality homes and are looking for a Registered Home Manager to help them achieve their vision.
About the Role
As the Registered Home Manager, you’ll be a visible and inspirational leader for both the children and the therapeutic care team. You’ll work in partnership with all stakeholders to safeguard and promote the welfare of their young people, oversee the home’s budget, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. This is a chance to shape the home where children feel safe, valued, and supported to rebuild their lives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong, inspirational leadership to staff and young people.
Safeguard children and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
Oversee budget management and financial planning.
Implement robust quality assurance and compliance processes.
Lead and develop your team to deliver outstanding care for children with BESD (Behavioural, Emotional & Social Difficulties).
Qualifications & Experience (Essential)
Management qualification & Level 5 / LMC – NVQ Level 4
Full driving licence
3+ years’ experience working with BESD children (within the past 5 years)
1+ year in a senior residential care role
Experience managing Ofsted inspections to at least a ‘Good’ rating
Knowledge, Skills & Personal Qualities
In-depth knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards & safeguarding legislation
Strong leadership, organisational and behaviour management skills
Commercial awareness with the ability to balance business and care needs
A “High Warmth / High Control” approach, setting clear boundaries with care
Commitment, professionalism, and flexibility to support both the team and young people
