Deputy Manager

Poole


We are looking for a committed and experienced Deputy Manager In Poole to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our children's residential homes. The role focuses on ensuring young people receive high-quality care, support and guidance to help them develop independence and achieve positive outcomes in education, health and future employment.


Main responsibilities:
·Lead and motivate the staff team, promoting positive teamwork and development
·Help deliver high standards of care, support and accommodation for young people
·Build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model
·Work alongside families, schools, health professionals and external agencies
·Support safeguarding practices and ensure policies are followed
·Assist with staff supervision, inductions, rotas and training
·Oversee care plans, reports and young people's records
·Deputise for the Registered Manager when required
·Participate in on-call duties and inspections


Essential Requirements
·Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent
·Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential children's home or supported living service
·Full clean driving licence
·Knowledge of safeguarding and children's legislation
·Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills


Working Hours
·Predominantly Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
·Some evenings, weekends and sleep-ins required
·Flexible working to meet service needs
