First for Support are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to join an Ofsted-regulated children's residential home in Southampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step in their career and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.
Deputy Manager will be working alongside the Registered Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day running of the home, support and develop the staff team, and ensure children receive safe, nurturing and child-centred care.

Responsibilities:
·Supporting the Registered Manager with the daily running of the home
·Leading, supervising and motivating the care team
·Promoting safeguarding and Ofsted compliance
·Supporting care plans, risk assessments and positive outcomes
·Creating a safe, therapeutic and nurturing environment
·Supporting staff inductions, training and development
·Liaising with professionals and advocating for the children
·Taking responsibility for the home in the Registered Manager's absence
·Participating in the on-call rota when required
